Good morning, Tulsa Long Hair community. Kevin here with kicking grass and taking names. Long hair home of the $5 first mow folks, how we doing out there? I hope we’re doing great today. I hope we’re enjoying the weather. It’s finally fall and green country and we are finally starting to experience some, uh, at least fall like mornings come afternoon. We’re back in summer hot. Uh, we just need a little bit of water and that grass is still growing here in late October. It’s absolutely crazy. We love it. Uh, it’s keeping the mowers busy. Um, it’s just something really enjoyable to keep doing, uh, to finish out the season a little bit stronger than in the past times. So, uh, I understand a lot of customers, they, they’re just like, oh no, this is the time of year. It is, it does not matter. It is over.
And then next thing that they know, they wanna know why their grass is so gro, uh, so long and did we cut it last time? And yes, folks, we did it. It’s amazing the ignorance of people out there in the world and how they just do not pay attention to the surroundings. I try to explain to them every single year, um, it’s, you know, it, everything is different. And you know, it’s amazing how much money really plays a role in people’s lives. Uh, the more money people have to take care of their problems, the less they have problems, but they still have problems. And what I mean by that is Tulsa lawn care community, they let their money take care of it. Uh, people with a poor mindset have lots of problems and their problems dictate their life. Uh, meaning they have to sit there and figure out, can I resolve this issue with my money?
And a lot of times the answer is no, they can’t, and they won’t. And they refuse. Um, which at the end of the day, it shows in their home and, and in their, in their ways. And, you know, like I always tell my kids truth is like, water finds its way out. So how you handle your money reflects in how you, you look and you simply can say and try to justify it however you want. Like, oh, you know, I don’t like the, you know, grass and I I’m not worried about it, blah, blah, blah. But at the end of the day, it’s a problem. It’s an issue. And how you handle it is reflected quite visibly. So regardless of your perceptions of how you think your grass is, or, or oh no, it doesn’t need that, or whatever the truth is seen by everyone that drives by and looks at your home. Uh, so, and like I said, the clients who, who understand that their homes always look nice and people drive by, oh, what a beautiful home. How they just sit there and take care of it all day long. No, no. They, they, they sit there and they solve their problems, okay? And by doing that, they, they understand there’s, there’s money involved and that’s how they take care of it. So, Tulsa lawn care community, you gotta realize what’s going on. And you can’t
Just, just assume, oh, the time of year it’s over. I can save my money now. No. Which I’ve, I’ve worked for other companies and there’s shifts and there’s trends. And in the Tulsa area, people get really tight with their money, um, right after the Tulsa State Fair. And it’s, it’s quite shocking to see, uh, how accurate that, uh, comment is. And ’cause as soon as that fair hits, uh, at this last company I worked at, you know, we saw at least about a 15% decline in sales. And all of a sudden when that fair hits with my clients, now I see a lot of ’em like, oh no, I’m good for the season. Yeah. ’cause you went and blew your money on something that you, I maybe you enjoy it, which is fine. I’m not saying, you know, whatever. That’s if you enjoy it, but you went and blew all your money more than you probably could afford instead of taking care of your responsibility.
And that’s, that’s what I’m talking about. There’s nothing wrong with the, the fair or whatever it is that you guys enjoy or, or whatnot. It’s, it’s accepting the responsibility of the fact that you can’t afford to enjoy it. And in order for you to enjoy it, you have to replace, uh, a responsibility that you need to take care of somewhere, uh, down the line. And you’re putting your desires and your wants before your responsibilities at the end of the day. So, just something to kind of think of and point out. And, and like I said, it it, it reflects in your home. And people can see, uh, when they drive by, they can say, ah, we can tell this type of person. There’s no, there’s no hiding it. So Tulsa lawn care community neglecting your lawn. And, and you said, I’m sure you were just sitting there thinking to yourself, oh wow, no, it’s just a lawn.
Well, no, it’s not. It says a lot more, you know, and the same could be said with your car and your, and all these other things. You can have an a, a, a 15-year-old car and it looked nice and run good and things on it work ’cause you have it taken care of. That’s, that’s not the issue, okay? And people are gonna be like, oh, wow. You know, that’s, you know, that’s amazing that that car is still, that that old, and, you know, it works, it does all these things, but you can have a brand new car and it looked like crap because you don’t wash it, you don’t clean it, you don’t, you know, something breaks. You don’t fix it and things like that. It, it, it reflects how you, how you handle things. So, uh, let’s not let that happen to your grass.
Um, you’ve hired us to come out, you’ve hired us to take care of it. You hired us to look good. Why would you neglect it? Now, at the end of the season when it’s most vulnerable, uh, ’cause it’s not growing, it’s not strong, it’s not healthy to fight things off, it’s starting to go dormant. It’s starting to fall asleep. It’s starting to, to become weaker. Why would you allow that to happen to your grass? Uh, at the end of the season? Now’s the time to, uh, to actually really protect it and have us come out, uh, fertilize or recon control spray and, and, uh, you know, give
It one last mow or two. Uh, keep it healthy. Uh, ’cause those, those fungis, those pests, those all sorts of things are about getting ready to move in. Okay? And then the next thing coming down are leaves. So Tulsa lawn care community, the last thing you want to do is have leaves cover up your grass and kill everything leaves at like a blanket. Um, they act like a very good blanket. Mother nature is a great design. And they will smother your grass to death to where it will not come back. Whereas we have other human things that we put on our grass to smother it. But yet mother nature finds its way through. It always wins, okay? But mother nature can’t compete with itself, and it has things designed in itself that will take itself out. So having said that leaves are harmful to your grass, why would you pay all that money and have all that hard work thrown out? Just because you decide, oh, I’m, I’m done with my lawn for the year.
Lawns are like homes. And it’s a full year long process no matter where you are, okay? Whether it’s cleaning it up, mowing it, maintaining it, it doesn’t matter what it is. There’s something you need to be doing to your lawn every month of the year. Okay? Throwing down, uh, a fertilizer, throwing down, um, limestone, helping, uh, the, the soil get a better pH balance, whatever it is. Tulsa lawn care community, you need to take care of your lawn. There is one, one way to surefire and get everything done. Great. And that’s to call kicking grass and taking names. Long care home with a $5 first. Mow, you want to call them, you wanna seek them out. You want us to be the ones to do all of it because we, we know, we know your yard. We’re already there. We’re already gonna be there. We, there’s no sense in having 2, 3, 4, 5 different companies show up and possibly show up at the same time.
And someone’s gonna have to move on and, and not, and skip a service, okay? With one company, you can get everything, uh, scheduled out, uh, properly timed out. Um, you won’t have each other crossing over each other’s feet tripping on each other. Um, you won’t have three or four different trucks parked in front of your house, taken up the street. Uh, it’ll be a lot simpler and easier task, uh, for us to take care of you. Uh, and then we can also schedule so many other things and, and you’ll get a better looking lawn in, in the long run. Uh, ’cause then you have, uh, guys that, that understand what’s going on with your lawn and, and know the process and know the timings and things like that. So sitting there and having three or four different companies, oh, ’cause you know, friends or whatever is fine.
But doing everything with one company, it can be simple. You know, it’s a trusted, we’re a trusted company. Uh, we’re doing your neighbors anyway. Uh, we’re out there. You see us, you wave at us. Um, so why not have you and your neighbor look having the best looking lawns in the, in the, in the neighborhood? Okay? Why sit there and, and have, you know, and the other thing is, will they show up? We’re showing up, you know, you know, we’re showing up. LA us love us, hate us. You sit there and you see us every week. You scratch your head and you look at us like, man, they’re here like all the time. Yeah, we’re showing up. Okay? Uh, we’re not saying, oh, hey, we will be here. And then we don’t, we don’t appear. We’re showing up. We’re providing the service you want. We’re making sure you have one of the best and nice looking lawns out there, uh, to compete with all the retirees that have that golf course manicured lawn.
And we do, we get several, uh, lawns of the week and month in neighborhoods, uh, for our clients, and they love it. And they think it’s great, and they think it’s kind of funny. Uh, knowing that it’s a, a service company coming out and taking care of their lawn while, uh, retiree Charlie across the street is out there every day for like two or three hours, sculpting his lawn into a masterpiece, only to, to lose the guys that are on her lawn for 30 minutes one time a week. So, as you can tell, uh, we take a lot of pride in our work.
