Good morning, Tulsa Lawn care community. Kevin here with kicking grass and taking names. Long Care home over the $5 first Mow folks, how we doing out there today? I hope we’re doing great. Hope we’re doing wonderful. We are enjoying a very beautiful January right after some good rain. Uh, why is it good rain? ’cause we haven’t had rain in, I don’t know, two or three weeks approximate according to our lovely meteorologist here in green country. Uh, we gotta love our meteorologist. They love giving us heads up on things like that. Uh, they do a really phenomenal job as best job as you really can with the type of weather that we have going on here, okay? And what I mean by that is if you are an Oklahoman and you are reading this, then you know exactly what I’m talking about. Uh, our weather is so unpredictable that you have a better chance of winning the lottery than you do of actually getting the weather right.
Okay? Even if the weather’s been 90 degrees and sunny for a week straight, and you’re gonna bet that eighth day is gonna be 90 degrees and sunny. I wouldn’t count on it. There is a chance it could snow. That’s right. You heard me. It could snow. Uh, you gotta love Oklahoma. Everyone talks about their weather that way. But being a person who’s been to several different states, and I mean some people can almost sit there, watch by the time that it’s supposed to rain in the afternoon. I’m very confident in the chaotic weather there and different types of weather that we have here in Oklahoma all at once. Uh, we don’t really have seasons. Uh, we don’t really have patterns. We just have chaos. Uh, everyone else has predictions this time of year. This happens, that time of the year this happened, and so on and so forth.
Uh, not really so much here. And again, I know everyone’s like, oh, that’s our weather too, and da da da. That’s fine. That’s wonderful. I’m glad you guys feel that way. Uh, but when you know for a fact and you’re preparing, uh, for a certain specific type of weather that’s gonna eventually show up in your area, well then there you go. I mean, we could go a whole decade and not have any snow here in Oklahoma or ice. So there is all sorts of different things. So Tulsa long care community, thank you so much for, uh, reading my beautiful Texas here. And I hope you guys enjoy the information that we provide. Uh, as we talk. We are, uh, certainly going through a very warm spell in January. Uh, we’ve noticed that some of the trees that they’re, they’re already starting to re bud and, uh, starting to bloom and, and grow and things like that.
So it’s, uh, it’s really crazy. It’s really, uh, weird that it does all these, uh, different things makes you wonder how, how well the, uh, the system’s doing. I mean, I guess it’s doing okay ’cause there’s areas in the world where leaves never shed, okay, obviously like in, uh, the jungles and places like that, but those plants are adapted for that and stuff. So, uh, you know, it’s okay for those trees to work hard and keep growing and keep butting and keep doing things like that. So, you know, I don’t think it’s really that big a deal at the end of the day. Uh, I think they, you know, the plants and everything like that gonna be just fine. Uh, I, I do believe we will get, uh, some cold come February and March. ’cause you know what, it’s Oklahoma. We typically do, but hey, again, you never know.
So Tulsa lawn care community, uh, now is the best time to really start looking into that lawn, uh, getting some nutrients down in that lawn, making sure everything’s taken care of, uh, making sure we are providing it with, uh, everything you could possibly do to set yourself up for great success in this upcoming uh, season. Alright? I’m sure you guys, some people are tired of wondering why their lawn is not as green or as weed free as something as the next guy. Well, that’s because they, they take steps to take care of it, okay? They take steps to, to make sure that things are done in a certain way at a certain time of the year, and they wanna make sure they’re looking good. And they, they do that by trusting companies like kicking grass and taking names. Because what is so confusing about homeowners, okay, is they want help with their home, but they have all these signs up that say, you come near my house and I’m gonna hurt you.

Meaning that, hey, yeah, you do want help. If you don’t want help, that’s fine. I’m not saying you do, but I have a feeling this next generation, a large portion of people who are in homes and gonna start to own homes, all right, are going to need a lot of guidance and help with their home. They’re not gonna have a lot of, uh, understanding of how the home operates. And then the ones that do understand their homes, the ones that aren’t afraid to go out there and try things on their own. You’re getting older. You didn’t pass that knowledge on well enough. Next generation doesn’t have it, and you’re not able to do it anymore.
And I don’t mean that in a manner of, uh, you’re incapable. It’s just you’re not as young as you once were. And I’m not trying to break your heart. Tulsa Lawn care community is here to help you. Of course we’ll never be as great as a homeowner is who can spend an entire day on their property being meticulous, being um, just absolutely perfect for everything they need to do on their property. But what we can do is come in, provide a quality service, and get you looking sharp and not like you’re homeless. Alright? Yes, you can look homeless with a home very easily, and that’s by simply allowing the grass to overgrow and overtake everything on your property. Okay? Uh, there’s a reason why we mow lawns and stuff like that. And that is the first line of defense in making sure you guys have a great looking house and that it stays great looking.
Alright? Uh, the moment we quit mowing, it starts to grow tall, starts to take over, flower beds starts to break down the walls. And what a lot of people don’t believe is that, uh, that grass can be damaged. And, and you gotta realize it’s not just the grass. It is all the elements of Mother Nature coming together and breaking down what man has made. Uh, if it wasn’t for the maintenance that is done by all the people, uh, on properties, mother nature would win. And, and for those who don’t take care of the property, mother nature, mother nature does win. She does take over your property, she does, uh, swallow your concrete, start breaking up your foundation, whatever you can think of, okay? Again, not trying to be mean, just trying to be realistic and let you guys know what’s going on. Alright? There’s all sorts of different things that we can do. All sorts of different nutrients we can throw down, uh, bug suppressants, all sorts of different things. Let me know how we can help. Let me know what we can do to better serve you. And you’ve gotta realize it’s, it’s, you’re not paying just for the labor of service. You’re paying for the knowledge of your, of your area, okay? And you’re, I’m sure you’re like, well, I’m the, I’m the homeowner. I know my area. Yes, I’m sure you do. Okay. Especially if you’re the homeowner of the last 20 to 30 years. You better know your area. But we’re the ones that know the areas for the new people that move in and they don’t know what they bought into. Okay? There are homes that we go into that we’re like, oh, hey, you’re in a flood zone. And they’re like, what? I’m like, yeah, you’re in a huge flood zone. Uh, when it rains, you’re gonna have water your doorstep okay for like a week.
And they’re like, what? I’m like, yeah, you didn’t know they didn’t tell you. Well, unfortunately, that’s where it is. Were you able to get flood insurance when you, when you bought your house? No. Well, now you know why. Okay. Uh, so some people don’t know things about the area. Uh, we are a company that’s been in the area for an extremely long amount of time, uh, just living, uh, and, and, and, and being exposed to the elements. And then on top of how long we’ve existed to serve our, our community and stuff. So please listen to us. Uh, we’re here to help you. We just want to help you guys out. Uh, when, when it, because I mean, there’s, there’s no financial gain for us, uh, for you to be in a flood zone. Like that’s just me telling you, Hey, this is what you can expect.
So you may not be able to mow your lawn a lot. Or we may only be out here mowing it like once every four or five weeks because it’s gonna rain and you’re gonna be soaked that long. So there are all sorts of different things to, to think of, to learn about and, and to, to know when you get into new areas. Okay? So toast the lawn care community. Uh, having a company that has knowledge of your area, I feel extremely important, uh, between, um, the, you know, the information that we learn from your neighbors, between the information that we learn from ourselves just in different areas and different solutions and different research.
