Hello Tulsa Lawn Care Community. Today Kickin’ Grass would like to talk about what the pros of paying someone to take care of your lawn are going to be. First off, Oklahoma has super duper-hot summers. The heat and humidity can get really intense, especially at the end of the day when most people get off of work, which is typically when you would have the time to care for your lawn. No one wants to have to think about mowing their lawn after a hard day’s work. And it would suck even more to have to take time out of your weekend to take care of your lawn. That is time you could be spending with your family and friends. So one major pro of paying for your lawn to be taken care of by professionals is that it will give you more time to spend on the things you love or with the people you love. When taking care of your lawn on your own there are a lot of things you might forget to factor into the amount of time it might take you to do the job. First, you have to find a time slot that is big enough to accommodate all of your needs. In order to do that you must first evaluate your needs. A way to do this would be to start asking questions. How big is my lawn? Am I going to mow the front and the back? Am I going to weed eat? Am I going to edge? There is so much that people in the Tulsa Lawn Care Community would have to figure out in order to be able to calculate how much time it would take to mow, weed eat, edge, and pick up their lawn. None of this includes finding the right equipment, weather, and having to maintain the maintenance on your equipment, not to mention the extra time it would take to clean yourself up after all that work. So let’s say that you have found out how much time it takes for you to just mow your lawn. You don’t have time to add in all the edging, weed eating, and grass pick-up it takes to make your lawn look extra pristine. Let’s say it takes you 45 minutes with a push mower. You could do it faster with a ride or standing mower ( it maybe takes you 30 minutes instead of 45) but buying one of those just isn’t in your budget at the moment. So we are at 45 minutes already, you might be able to shave that down once you figure out the ins and outs of how to best get around the obstacles in your yard, but for now it takes you 45 minutes. Okay so moving to equipment. You have to decide what would be the best type of mower weed eater and or edger for you to invest in. Push mowers tend to be cheapest but they also tend to take longer when it comes to saving time to mow your yard. A push mower also allows you to be able to bag the grass that you are cutting. A standing or ride mower can mow your lawn quicker but they also tend to cost more and they do not catch the extra grass that you cut off the top of your lawn when you mow. So Tulsa Lawn Care Community Let’s say you went with the regular push mower. Now you also have to look at weed eaters and edgers. But that is also more money that you have to invest in your lawn. In order to save money you decide to get only a weed eater because a weed eater can do the job of an edger and weed eater it just takes a little bit more practice and precision. Okay Tulsa Lawn Care community now that you have all of the equipment that you will need you need to make sure to take good care of that equipment. You need gas to operate your mower and your weed eater and in order to help your machines last longer you decide to invest in all natural gas. Now that you have all of your equipment, that you had to pay a lot of money for, you have to decide when you can have the time to actually know your yard. If it takes you 45 minutes and you want to do it before the day gets hot you can do it in the morning but that means you have to wake up 45 minutes early to mow your lawn and then let’s say it takes you another 30 minutes to shower and clean up yourself so that you can get ready for work or ready for your day and then another 15 minutes to get all the stuff out and put it back where it’s supposed to go. So now you have to get up an hour and a half earlier than normal. But if you also have kids and they have to be at school and you have to drop them off and help them get ready in the morning you have to get up and allow time to help them get ready and make them breakfast and things like that so let’s say that puts you at getting up around 5:00 a.m. You decide that’s too early. So instead you decide to do it after work. So you get home from work around 4:30. That means you have to mow your lawn at the hottest part of the day. But you don’t want to do that either so you decide to just wait for the weekend. But now you have to wake up early on a weekend that normally you would get to sleep in on.So Tulsa Lawn Care community, do you still want to mow your own lawn or would you like Kickin’ Grass to take care of it for you?
