We have a, uh, lovely warm day in October ahead of us. Um, very, very warm, very unusual. We finally got some rain, uh, needed in the area. Not a lot, just a small, tiny cloud trying to sprinkle water everywhere. And, uh, unfortunately it only covered a very small portion of our area, was not able to, uh, get a lot of the, uh, places that needed. Water. Water, which, you know, can be good, can be bad, whatever. But, um, either way. Uh, it’s good. We got some rain in some places. Uh, luckily some of it happens to be in the areas that we actually mow, so that’s always a good sign. Uh, so we’ll have some, maybe some more growth.
Maybe one, one more mow left in the season. Uh, just depending on the, the lawns and stuff like that, uh, lawns that we have that people actually take care of that, uh, they pay for fertilization and weed control and things like that. We’ll definitely have one more. Mow they water. They have nice good green grass lush lawns going right now that are still growing. Uh, they’re just not growing as wildly as before where they can take actually like biweekly turns right now with it. And, uh, to finish out the season. Uh, these are lawns that during the, uh, peak of summer that are just growing consistently fast. That if, uh, we took a week off in between, they would be a wild jungle by the end. So, Tulsa lawn care community, this can show you the difference right there. And taking care of your lawn and not taking care of your lawn.
Um, no matter what your grass will grow. Always remember that because no one takes care of the grass along the side of the highway, but yet it grows profusely, uh, sometimes better than lawns that get fertilized. I don’t know why. Um, however, I understand that the grass will grow regardless of your perception, regardless of how you may think. Now, you may think it looks fine, which is fine, and if you do, that’s great. That’s your, you know, prerogative your opinion. But it is growing. Uh, and some people actually like to have a nice, neat looking yard, like they actually care about their life and they want to look good and represent themselves in a good light. Uh, they’re also not lazy people then, most likely. Um, so kicking grass and taking names. Lawn care wants to be the ones that come out and make you guys look good. Uh, you got, there are certain things in your lives, aspects that you guys take care of. Make sure that you have on point yourselves and some things you guys delegate out. Long care being one of them. Uh, in order to keep yourself looking sharp and, uh, well taken care of and put away, uh, you want to get kicking grass at taking things long hair home with a $5 first mow, uh, we will come out and get that grass, uh, cut, trimmed and trained to make you guys look like a five star neighbor. Neighbors aren’t upset with you. That way you can proudly stand on your lawn comfortably without being tickled shin high on your, uh, legs from long grass, or have smelly stinky bugs. Uh, ’cause grass is a finicky thing where if you do not mow it, it will house all sorts of pests and weird little things. Tulsa lawn care community, your grass can also stink profusely if you let it grow too long. Um, it’ll just capture in odors and stuff like that. And then it gets worse when you actually finally get it cut. ’cause then you have the odors released even more on top of decaying grass, wet

Lovely smells that get taken place within the lawn after they’ve, uh, mowed.
So a lot of people reaching out here in October asking for mowing. Mowing is pretty much over with. So it’s very odd that we’re getting a lot of, uh, phone calls from mowing, uh, wanting new service and things like that. A lot of people need to understand that. Uh, most of the people calling this time of year that we found out are people who have let their lawn go to extreme lengths. Uh, they have extremely tall grass. Uh, they know it’s not gonna grow anymore once it gets cut. These are the people that probably have cut their lawn three times the, the whole season, and they’re like, oh, yeah, can I get my lawn mowed? Yes, difficult times ahead for you, my friends, I’m sorry to hear. Um, but doing things like that is not fair to, uh, the people who put time and effort into their companies to have, uh, good equipment to take care of clients that actually care about their lawn.
So, having a well manicured lawn requires having a good team. Uh, if you want a good team, then when we come by and knock on your door, be accepting when we come by and give you free information, or when you’re referred to us by your friend, believe them when they say, we’re, we’re going to take care of you. We’re going to show up, we’re gonna provide for you. Uh, don’t dismiss. You’re the one who was wanting the help, and then you’re the one that was calling and crying and griping because your guy quit showing up because your guy wouldn’t do what you asked, because whatever other reason you can think of. Okay? Uh, remember it’s a two-way street. Maybe there was something that, uh, you had on your lawn or the way you wanted to operate. The guy was like, you know what? It’s not what I want.
So that’s why you quit showing up. Uh, every company is different. Uh, not every, uh, customer is for every company and not every company. It’s for every customer. That’s why there’s a lot of different, uh, companies out there, Tulsa Lawn Care community. You’ve gotta be willing to go out there and make some phone calls and be accepting to the ones that are, uh, more flexible and more willing to take on your type of lawn. Uh, if that’s what they so desire. Um, you can’t hire, uh, companies and expect them all to follow suit with what you want. You can expect to hire companies and them to offer you what they provide. Um, so have a, have, uh, some faith, have some bravery. Try out kicking grass and taking names. Lawn Care home with a $5 first. Mow, uh, we will take care of you. We mowed from two acres to five for $5 on our first mow.
Uh, proud to say we still have those clients today. Uh, we are taking care of them. They understand that we show up, we do our job, and we’re out of their way. Uh, they don’t have to look for us. They don’t have to, uh, hunt us down, uh, nothing like that. We come, we perform the service. We get, uh, their job done as they want it. So not too many companies out there willing to do that. They’re a little more, uh, stringent on how they offer their services. Uh, we will try to work with you as best we can. We do have some, uh, non-negotiables that we have. Uh, so please understand every company’s different. Um, but at least give us a try. Let us check your lawn out and see what we can do, provide for you. Uh, that’s what we’re best at is, uh, showing up, getting your lawn mow and making you look great and wonderful in front of your neighbors and friends. Most lawns, um, if they’re scu, should be aerated about, eh, every two years or so. And over seated. If you have a Bermuda lawn, you can probably go significantly longer, probably, uh, five to seven years between aerations. There’s not too much, uh, aeration needed. Whenever you have a, uh, a Bermuda lawn, uh, if you’re having, uh, a fertilizer company asks you to get, uh, aerated every couple years, and you have Bermuda Lawn, I mean, that’s obviously up to, you might have a better looking lawn, but it’s also not, you know, not as needed. Oh wait, it could be the 110 degree heat that hits and when the guy is going out there for a few bucks to mow your lawn, it’s not worth it to him anymore. And so he leaves and then you get upset and frustrated and decide to say, oh, hey, all the lawnmowing companies are just lazy people. No, you just picked a guy that underpriced himself and didn’t think about August. So whenever we come out and we give you these prices, if we’re good and we know what we’re doing, we’re pricing for August. We’re not pricing for that nice cool weather that we’re feeling in March. And your grass is just starting to grow.
No, we’re definitely not. We are, uh, pricing for that August heat, that price point that’s gonna make us show up in 110 degree heat and work hard for you. Um, ’cause what motivates all money, you gotta love it.
