<silence> Good morning, Tulsa Long care community. Kevin here with King Grass and taking names. Long care home of the $5 first Mow guys, how we doing out there today? I hope we’re doing great. I hope we’re doing good. Uh, it has been raining for about approximately five days, four to five days straight here in, uh, northeastern Oklahoma. Uh, it’s, it’s gonna be great in the long term. It, it doesn’t do a such a good job right now. Uh, so after the first day it rained, you know, I still went out and I was able to do some things, get some lawns mode and things like that. But what people don’t realize is, you know, if it hasn’t rained in a really long time and it does rain and it rains just a little bit or like an hour, a couple hours or whatever it is, it’s not a straight downpour, you know, we’re typically able to go back out and get those lawns mowed.
And I know it can be confusing at times ’cause you’ll see me out in your yard and you’re like, well, it rained. What’s he doing? But the long term is that your, your ground got a little bit of water, soaked it up super fast, and yeah, now it’s like, oh, that was, uh, that was a great little thirsty pocket that you gave me. I’m ready to, uh, to keep, uh, keep going. You know? And then they like, well, you rain, you mowed that one time when it rained. Why aren’t you mowing again? Well, here’s the deal, okay? If it rains for multiple days straight, then your ground really starts to get saturated and it can no longer really hold that water. So the water kind of stays risen to the top. And when the water stays risen, uh, at the top and, and makes the ground slushy and mushy and muddy and murky and all that good fun stuff, then that’s when we start to lay in.
You know, that’s when we start to dig our mowers into the ground. That’s when we start to get stuck. That’s when we start to get, uh, uh, what is ruts built into the ground. And your ground becomes bumpy and sometimes it’s quite obvious. It’s, it’s a massive, massive, uh, you know, deep, deep, deep, uh, uh, thing, you know, that depth of the tire all the way to the bottom of the deck and, and stuff like that. And sometimes it’s just a pressure enough that it starts to make your lawn, uh, bumpy and wavy. So you’ve gotta really, uh, understand that the, the, the structure of the ground has a lot to do with whether or not we can able to come out and mow or not. Uh, we always like to, uh, be professional about it and make sure you understand that, you know, we feel, we know when it’s best to, to mow and when it’s best not to, to mow.
So Tulsa lawn care community have no fear. We will be out there to get your grass mowed. You will not be the only ones with long grass. Um, right now, the, the heat is not that bad on it’s gonna make it grow. The water will, uh, uh, sun over the next few days is gonna kind of push everyone to, to grow their, their grass and all that stuff. But I mean, just like I said, as long as you’re understanding, as long as you’re willing to know that we’re going to be out there, we’re communicating. We’ve tried our best to inform everyone of what our intentions are and stuff. Uh, and that’s all we can do at this time. If you’re, if you’re somebody that is wanting a service provided and not willing to understand that, okay, well my guy that services me is gonna service other people, so I need to be understanding that he’s going to, uh, have to have me on a specific order and route and list and things like that.
You will be taken care of. We will get you, okay? And we will make you be looking good and you won’t be anything like that. We’re gonna show up. We promise that, okay? Just be patient with us and bear with us through this weather. Um, ’cause if you’re somebody that’s like, oh no, I’m the one that needs to be getting serviced right now. This is my day no matter what, blah, blah, blah, we’re probably not the company for you. And what I mean by that is, uh, we’re gonna try to be fair to all of our clients, um, and try to take care of ’em as good as possible. And I know some people are like, well, then you have too many clients. No, no, I really don’t. Okay? Uh, if I had too many clients, then I would be missing people and having to skip and having to rearrange and be like, sorry, I only do every two weeks or every three weeks and that would be too many clients.
But the fact is, every single one of my clients, I could do weekly. Every single one of my clients, uh, I can get to on a short notice, and they need to understand that I do my best to accommodate that. But I, I just like, they have a job that they like to end after so many hours. So do we. Okay. Tulsa lawn care community thinking that your, your lawn care company is gonna be like, no, they’re gonna be at my beck and call and come twenty four seven. Well, are you at your job’s beck and call coming twenty four seven? I didn’t think so. Why not? Maybe you should be so you have a better understanding of the purpose and why, uh, we do what we do. ’cause if you don’t have that understanding and you don’t have that, uh, uh, willingness to, to hear out what your companies are doing for you and stuff like that, then you know what you, you’re just looking at, at it all wrong and having to come out there and do all these wonderful things for you when it’s pointing down, rain will only ruin your lawn.
And that’s not what we’re trying to do here. We’re trying to make sure you guys have a nice looking lawn and looking good. So trust us, we are experts when it comes to, uh, ground saturation. Okay? We are gonna know what it’s like to have ground that it’s not doing good, and when it’s ready to be mowed on, okay? So Tulsa lawn care community, um, right now, green country, not the time to be mowing, okay? In fact, let alone maybe not even time to be walking around in your grass trimming things up. Uh, our weight, uh, human weight alone may just be enough to start tearing up the grass. It has been saturated. Uh, we’re talking about from four to six hours worth of rain every morning for approximately four to five mornings so far. So you need to understand, there, there are things we can do and there are things we can’t.
We’ve gotta give this time, this water time to recede and go down deep into the, uh, ground. We’ve gotta be allowed. It’s gotta be allowed to have, its, its moment of glory and let it do its thing. Uh, right now, all you, if you sit there and get on your grass and start doing things, all you’re gonna do is tear it up and that’s it. Start bringing that mud to the top, drowning that, uh, grass back into the mud and just making a giant mud pit around your house. That’s not what you wanna do. You’re sitting here, uh, spending money to make sure it looks good. Uh, you, you need to be able to understand that surviving a few days with it long or, or a little bit shabby is, is what’s going to have to happen. Uh, it doesn’t matter who it’s, even if it doesn’t matter right now who you call or whatever.
They’re, they need, need to give your ground time. It doesn’t matter. Like, oh yeah, we can be out there this afternoon. Well, good for them. I’m glad they’re willing to destroy your yard and I’m glad you’re willing to get your yard destroyed simply because you wanna be impatient. So Tulsa lawn care community, you really need to, uh, give this mother nature time to do what she needs to do. Let her, uh, let help your lawn naturally as intended. We, we wanna make sure the lawns are kept nice. We wanna make sure the lawns are looking wonderful right now. They’re getting everything they need to get, they’re getting all the water they need. They’re getting some nutrients, they’re getting the sun here a little bit. The wind’s gonna blow over it. It’s going to go great for those lawns. Uh, and again, if you’re one of those people that just need a, a private gardener and things like that, we understand, uh, we’re definitely not gardeners.
We’re definitely not, uh, uh, someone’s private, uh, you know, lawn care company. That’s, that’s for sure. We, we are very much there to help people, uh, to, we can’t do it themselves. We’re very much there to help people who don’t want to do it themselves. And we’re very, very much there for people who understand, uh, that we are out there doing our best and we communicate. Uh, it’s not hard to cut a lawn and we understand that. Uh, but it is hard to know when, where, how and why to cut the lawns. Okay? And if you don’t know what I mean by all those questions, then you haven’t come across very many problems as a lawn mowing person. So Tulsa Lawn care community, okay? We are going to come out there and get your lawn back in shape. It’s gonna be rough over the next, uh, week, week and a half until we can get to all of our customers.
Okay? The lawns are going to grow and they’re gonna grow quick and fast. Uh, but we’re gonna be there. Okay? We’ve got, we did some really good work on a lot of ’em. We got ’em all kind of started and whooped into shape there, and I think they’re about ready to get after it. And it’s really start turning green and growing and, and making your lawn, your house look gorgeous, nice green, lush lawn up against a a, a beautiful home is one of the best looking things that we have out here in green pressure. And to make it better is when kicking grass and taking in lawn care comes out and does that lawn for you.
