<silence> Good morning, Tulsa Long care community, Kevin here with Kicking Grass and taking names. Long Care Home of the $5 First Mow folks, it is, uh, pretty much in full swing. Uh, it’s mowing on, uh, even though we just had a little cold front come through. Not a big deal. Uh, the grass is growing. Uh, we got grass everywhere. And, uh, yeah, it’s, uh, it’s that time, time to get out, time to get started, time to get it all cleaned up and get after it. Um, folks push mowing with baggers. Well, really, at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter if you push mow or stand on or whatever, uh, it’s just what’s more efficient, uh, if you’re doing this, is for money. So, but scraping and bagging, man, you gotta love it. Uh, these, uh, big old mowers now, uh, have these baggers put on there and you go, you, I mean, you just dump a lot, a lot of grass to make those customers happy.
Um, get that, uh, old, uh, dead grass off of their new upcoming grass. Make sure they are thick and healthy and hearty. And, uh, yeah, just pilot it on. Uh, so reasons why you want to do, uh, a scrape a bag. Uh, well, Tulsa lawn care community reason one healthier lawn. Um, if you, uh, scrape a bag, your lawn, uh, beginning of the season, you get all the yucky old stuff off, it’s, it’s like a nice good vacuum up of everything that just piled on for a couple months of your yard, and you’ve got it all taken care of now. So, wham bam, thank you, ma’am. Uh, get it all cleaned up. So healthier yard or happier yard, or however they phrase that and say that, uh, number two, um, you want to get rid of any possible diseases that could, uh, manifest or whatever, just from like old stuff hanging out, you know, uh, lawn is a li living, breathing thing.
Um, it does require nutrients and things like that, and it can get diseases just like any living thing. So keep that in mind. You want to help healthy, happy lawn scraping bag. Uh, it helps to, you know, weeds need certain things to thrive, and, uh, one of those things is being left alone. Um, so if you guys scrape a bag though, you’re, you’re depriving the, the weeds, the ugly weeds of the, the stuff that you really want, uh, or that they would really want. And, uh, by doing that, you’ll get yourself, uh, a little bit happier along. You’ll give your, you’ll give your actual grass a fighting chance to kick through and, and take over and beat the weeds back. Now, that won’t be the whole thing, but, you know, you’ll have to figure out how else you can get those weeds under control, maybe with some chemicals or something like that, you know, depending on what kind of type of yard you want. Uh, and just remember, you know, if you treat your yard, you actually have to mow less.
Um, that’s, that’s the beauty about treating, you know, yard and getting the weeds gone and stuff like that is, uh, grass does not grow as fast as people think. And, um, even if you fertilize and keep it healthy and all that stuff, you know, it, it, it doesn’t not grow super, super fast. So, however it does grow, uh, will grow super fast are the weeds. So, Tulsa lawn care community, if you don’t want your weeds, or if you don’t wanna have to mow constantly or have somebody come out and mow, constantly have your lawn treated, um, it, it, it will help significantly reduce the amounts of, uh, time that either you or your lawn guy has to be out your property. And, uh, you know, don’t get me wrong, sad to say, you know, don’t make as much money on those lawns, but they are prettier lawns.
They look do, look better. And then you have, you know, less time of equipment on that lawn. Um, don’t get me wrong, it is okay. And, and in fact, maybe I prefer think it’s better to go ahead and have those big equipments on your lawn because you, you want that to kind of wake your lawn up, so to speak, kind of really push it through and, and get it going and, and all that good fun stuff. So, Tulsa Lawn Care Company, um, guys, don’t be afraid. That’s, that’s a key phrase I say on my things. Don’t be afraid, okay? Be, be the daredevil. Be the one to come out and be like, you know what? We want these guys to really show us how it’s done and take off and, and hopefully find everything that we need to find. We really want you guys out here, uh, letting us show us what you got, what we have, uh, back to pushing and mowing or bagging or whatever we’re talking about here. Uh, we’re talking about bagging grass. And, uh, you know what? Bagging grass at the beginning of the season is a wonderful idea. Bagging is grass. The rest of the season is not a wonderful idea, uh, simply because it’s, it’s, you’re depriving your lawn of some, some good nutrients that it can recycle and stuff like that. Now, don’t get me wrong, if you’re, if you wait forever a day to mow, yes, you probably want a bag ’cause you don’t wanna suffocate your lawn, but you know, you’ve got a nice lawn if you’re getting done weekly or even biweekly anyhow, well, you get it treated, uh, you know, sitting there mulching it up. That’s a wonderful idea.
It’s great. It, it, it’s a really, really big, uh, nutrient provider to the, um, to the grass. So don’t, you know, let’s, uh, let’s check that out. Let’s keep those ideas in mind. But, you know, uh, bagging does have, its, uh, its time, its place, and it’s, uh, it’s good ideas. So, you know, when we’re beginning the season, we’re kicking everything off. We’re getting it all nice and pretty and fancy. Yeah, let’s, let’s get that one bag in. And then after that, let’s just, let’s just go and mulch everything up. Get that lawn healthy, free fertilizer. There’s no reason to sit here and take away a fertilizer, just, you know, simply because you think it’s gonna cause a blanket issue or whatever, but no, it’s not. Uh, it’s the same thing as you throwing down the, uh, little pebbles or chemicals
