<silence> Good morning. Tulsa lawn care community. Kevin here with kicking grass and taking names. Lawn care home of the $5 first. Mow coming at you on a hot June morning, folks, it is, uh, I don’t know, 6 45 in the morning and it’s already like 84 degrees or 90 degrees out. It’s absolutely crazy. It’s hot. It’s, it’s wonderful, it’s great. Let’s talk watering Tulsa lawn care community. Watering is important. Timing of watering is important. How much you water is important. Frequency of watering is important, folks, all these things are important, but they’re all variables. It’s not set it and done and let’s let it go. Okay, now I just said that, but also watering 8, 9, 10 o’clock at night for, I don’t know, 10 minutes, 15 minutes during the summer. Yeah, you’re pretty much golden at that point. Um, but Tulsa Law Care Committee, let me tell you something, folks sitting out there and drowning your lawn in water to where it pulls up is too much. Alright, folks, way, way, way, way, way too much. We need to understand there’s gotta be a happy medium. I understand people want green grass. That’s good, that’s wonderful. We want you to have green grass. We want you to water it so it’ll grow so we can mow,
But we can’t mow it if it’s flooded. And some of you folks out there don’t quite get that. And you need to understand there is a lot of wasted water and, and the vegetation that you have can go really, really far with way less than what you’re putting out there. Uh, you gotta remember, man, that, that grass by the highway, it grows fast and it grows thick, and no one waters it. Okay? So keep that in mind when you’re back there just for hours on end, watering your grass. Um, it does not have to be in a need of constant water and constant
Wetness. It, it does, however, need to be, you know, properly maintained, properly mowed. Um, cutting it regularly on a regular basis is a lot better than cutting it, you know, two weeks apart, 10 days apart, things like that. Uh, five to seven days is the primal prime time to, to cut lawns, to keep them growing healthy and strong and thick. It also does not, um, how you say, increase the thatch like it does when you’re, when you have thicker, thicker grass and things like that. Um, so frequent mowing, intermediate watering, you know, I mean, and when I say intermediate watering, I’m not even like, you wanna get super hot out and dry, you’re, you’re still only talking like maybe three times a week. You know, you’re, you’re probably golden at two, two times a week for like 10 minutes, okay? I mean, really, folks, it does not take much to keep your grass growing, to keep it green, to keep it, uh, lush and all that.
Uh, it, it, it really does not, uh, it’s not a hard concept. It’s not very hard to do. Uh, you just gotta trust the system and let the process work itself out. Uh, I remember there’s also other things that you’ll have to do to, to help maintain it. Fertilizers, uh, adding nutrients, things like that, making sure that no bugs and, and pests and things get in there. Which again, an application of bug control. An application of fertilizer here and there. I mean, you’re, you’re set. You’re, these are things that, that take 5, 10, 15 minutes, um, for the, uh, educated lawn guy to do. But Tulsa lawn care community, these, these aren’t hard. And the, and unfortunately, the things that the, the, what they try to sell you at the big box stores just won’t cut it. Okay? So it would be a little bit more expensive for you to go do yourself, uh, than a, at one of the contractor stores versus a, uh, box store.
Uh, but at the same time, that’s why you have kicking grass and taking names long here. Hire us, tell us we’ll come out. We’ll spread everything you need. We’ll get it all taken care of. We’ll get it all provided for you. We’re gonna get everything turned down. Uh, we’re gonna get everything, uh, mulched up. Keep it low, keep it green, uh, if you know what I mean. It’s, it’s not hard. We don’t want you guys to, uh, think that it’s gonna be a, uh, a hard concept, a long concept. And that’s the other thing, you know, uh, I’m sure you guys don’t mind when service people come out to do things on your properties and stuff like that, but man, do you want them out there for an hour, hour and a half? No, of course not, man. Let ’em come out weekly and you’re talking 30, 35 minute tops.
Oh, how could it take so much longer? You’d be surprised. In order to make it look like a weekly lawn, you are going to have to kind of edge it weeded a few times, mow over a couple rows here and there, uh, once or twice, okay? It’s going to take extra time to take care of that stuff. Uh, and that’s what people don’t understand. And in order to get there, uh, you need to go through the process yourself. You need to understand what it takes to take care of a lawn and, and what happens if you go two, three weeks without mowing it and be like, oh, my mower can handle it. No, actually it can’t. And that’s why a lot of people decide to go ahead and call us when they’re like, oh, hey, yeah, it’s been a month or two since our lawn was mid mowed. Can you come and mow it? Well, yes we can, sir, but it’s gonna cost this much. We appreciate that and we appreciate you, uh, looking out for us.
So, Tulsa lawn care community, do not fret, do not fail. Kicking grass, taking Amy’s lawn care is here to sail. We’re going to come out and we’re gonna mow that lawn. Um, we, we try to stick around the same timeframe, and we do send notifications of when we’re headed your direction. Um, communication is key, uh, to successful relationship in lawn care. But Tulsa Lawn Care community, we want to thank you for, for calling us and having us. And I mean, you guys reaching out to us every single week, um, and, and we’re trying to fill all those requests and get there and take care of you and, and make sure you guys are provided for.
Uh, we understand that there is a lot of you and there’s only so many of us, and we are doing our best to fill, fill the quota. Uh, so folks, uh, please, uh, be patient and be kind, and we’ll get to you as soon as we can, um, as we add on and make our, uh, company grow and become stronger. Um, you know, adding on trucks and equipment is, is not quick. Uh, it does take a few, a little while to get that done and accomplished, but keep congrats of taking names. Lawn cares on the job, and we’re gonna try our best to get it done for you. Uh, also please note, uh, at these temperatures, we do slow down a little bit. Um, we are humans. Uh, we do ride machines, but it does take a toll on us to be out there in the heat, even though we get to use machines and things like that.
Um, we try to be fast, quick and friendly. Um, but we also wanna concentrate on what we’re doing and make sure we are leaving a well serviced lawn. We don’t want you guys to be unhappy with the product that we provide you. We want you to, uh, tell your friends and have us come out and mow their lawns. Uh, and we also feel that, uh, your lawn is our best form of advertisement, uh, when they see how pretty it is, how well kept and how, um, um, how frequently like we are there no matter what. Like, oh man, they are consistent. Uh, that’s, that’s how we wanna be seen and described, uh, consistent and dependable. Um, so folks, uh, let us know what we can do for you.
