Speaker 1:
Good morning, Tulsa, long hair community, Kevin here with kicking grass and taking names long hair home of the $5 first Mo Hey folks, how we doing out there today? We wanna talk about, um, some wild and interesting facts that we know to be, uh, true. Some of the things we want to talk about are crazy. Some of the Tulsa Lawn Care things we wanna talk about are controversial and, uh, some things we wanna talk about are boring. It happens. It is long care after all, uh, the most exciting, uh, form of, uh, grass entertainment out there in today’s market. Uh, so, uh, some of the things we wanna talk about today to our, uh, Tulsa long hair community is watering. What, what watering? Yeah. Watering. Watering. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, we’ve had a lot of rain all the last few days, all that stuff. And, uh, it it’s been, uh, quite a busy, busy, uh, few, uh, days of nothingness because of the rain.
Speaker 1:
Um, so first and foremost, uh, folks out there, you know, I hope you guys understand, you know, um, mowing companies do have several, several clients and, uh, so now they’re days behind and stuff like that. And a lot of ’em are biweekly and that’s, uh, that’s really gonna hurt, um, on those bi-week cause we’re gonna have to, uh, start moving things heavily around and, uh, you know, it, it may be end up being a month almost till you get, uh, till you get mowed. So, you know, that’s the, that’s the, that’s the real downfall with biweekly, uh, while it’s, uh, good and, and everything in the long, uh, you know, uh, and the upfront, you know? Oh yeah. I only to get it twice a month. Yeah, Woohoo. Yeah. Uh, but yeah, then bam, what happens? It rains on your day, you know, we got like 20 other clients the day before, or the day after.
Speaker 1:
It’s not like we can just, Hey, lemme just throw you over here. I mean, there’s 20 clients that day, so you guys have to, uh, understand, be flexible and, uh, we’ll try to work you in when and where we can and then, uh, we’ll get those, uh, get everything under down and get you guys back on, uh, back on schedule. So, uh, yeah, that’s where we got at. So water, water. Yeah. We’ve had a lot, uh, it’s been great. Uh, things are growing. Uh, so we’ve had a lot of water. We’re gonna get some sunshine and, um, it’s crazy when happens when you have water in sunshine, uh, this, this, uh, very unique and, uh, mystical thing happens to the grass. It grows and, uh, yeah, it grows a lot. So to us, a long care community prepare for your grass to grow. Um, it will be coming at you strong. Uh, so yeah, we’ll be out there mowing, uh, cuz the grass is gonna be growing, um, because it got water and now it’s gonna get some sunlight. Um, so, and the wind’s gonna help. The wind’s gonna help dry it all out, um, get everything blown across, uh, you know, really help, uh, pick up that, uh, that moisture in there, you know, suck it up, bring it back and we’re gonna cycle it all over again.
Speaker 2:
Um, so yeah, uh, lot of rain, some sunlight and uh, some wind, uh, it’s gonna be great. Uh, we’re gonna have some lush green lawns, uh, thick, everything, uh, not a big deal. Um, gonna be happy, just you gotta be patient with your lawn crew as they work everybody in and out and, and work around and, and get everyone taken care of. Um, you know, we are trying our best. You hired us for a reason. Um, we will show up and we, when we said we’re going to, uh, but you know, the weather weather gets in the way and uh, that’s like, again, that’s the only downfall, you know, if you’re a weekly client, great, wonderful. Not a big deal. You can skip that week and back the next thing, man, it’s spot on it’s it’s not that bad. And, and you just keep going.
Speaker 2:
Um, yeah, definite definite winner on the weeklies. Uh, especially if it’s a, a bad week weather week, not a big deal, then no one’s missing out. Uh, you’re still gonna end up with a clean looking lawn. Um, so you always wanna stick with, uh, in the long run, that’s probably the better, the better method is going, those, those weekly things, uh, it’s probably the best and most simple, simple way to get your lawn taken care of. There’s not too, uh, too much harassment and a hassle there. Uh, it’s a, it’s like almost a set Tulsa Lawn Care it and forget it. Uh, that’s probably the best, uh, the best, uh, scenario right there for the customer. Uh, you know, you just want it taken care of, you know, you just don’t need any hassles you want. Like I said, you just want to set, uh, your lawn crew on it and uh, yeah, you’re done.
Speaker 2:
You’re good. You’re uh, you’re golden on that. Um, very good. Very easy. Um, again, uh, so water, how much should I water my lawn? Should I water it for an hour? Should I water it every day for three hours? Should I water water it once a week, uh, in the middle of afternoon. So many questions, so many pondering and wondering if this is right, if that is right, if this is wrong, if that is wrong, tell us a long care community. Lemme tell you rule of thumb. And again, if you ask Aion specialist or a long guy or 10 different whoevers, you might get 10 different answers. But I think for the most part, most Tulsa Lawn Care can agree. Uh, about three times a week for 15 minutes is all you really need to do to, to take care of your lawn as far as watering goes.
Speaker 2:
Um, and then, uh, the time of day, it just depends if it’s super hot out and we’re in August and Oklahoma, you wanna be watering late evening overnight. Okay. That way it’s time to soak in over the night and, and, uh, really get into the roots and all that stuff. You don’t want to do it in the morning or midday because then all you’re doing is, uh, filling the, uh, water up, like in a bowl. And now the sun’s out 110 degrees and it’s starting to boil the water. And all you’re doing is boiling in your grass, which, uh, you know, boil the grass is not that great, but to each their own. So anyway, yeah, it just depends on the time of year, as far as when you water and, uh, really, it doesn’t really change that much as far as how much and how often it’s, uh, I mean, unless you’re doing something special, trying to get something going or whatever, I mean, it’s pretty much 15 minutes a day for three days, you know, or every other day, three times a week, you know, let’s space it out.
Speaker 2:
However you want, you know, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, whatever it is, keep it simple, keep it easy. Uh, you don’t have to go to, uh, extreme length and all these, uh, crazy things. And, you know, like I said, you just, just flow with the flow, with the motion of the ocean there, uh, figure it out as, as the heat increases, you know, maybe you just change it, ring it up a couple hours earlier in the morning or something like that, not a big deal. Uh, then, you know, obviously in the wintertime and stuff like that, you’d want to, uh, water during the day, uh, when it’s at its most warmest time, uh, you don’t want to, uh, water Tulsa Lawn Care overnight or anything like that. Cause then you freeze your lawn. So, and you know, anything else that you might get wet. So definitely things you’d wanna stay away from and not, um, uh, harm harm or hurt your lawn.
Speaker 2:
So, but also keep in mind, uh, this is grass. It it’s going to grow unless you have a specialty delicate grass. If you have, Oklahoma’s great Bermuda grass, it’s gonna grow no matter what it’s gonna, it’s gonna get thick and Hardy and hairy and, and you’re gonna need to mow it. And that’s just how it is. And that’s just what it is and it’s it’s gonna happen. So Tulsa lawn care community, uh, make sure you water your lawn. Uh, it, it, it especially helps come August, uh, when there’s very little moisture around and, and things like that. You want your grass to grow. Uh, and so don’t be, um, don’t be afraid. Uh, don’t be gentle with it. Um, it’s not a fragile FRA flower, unless you do have one of those, uh, types of grasses, uh, yeah, just water away. It’ll grow. It’ll take care of itself.
Speaker 2:
Uh, the grass that you have, majority of the people, the grass that you have at your house is the GRA same grass on the side of the highway. And man, that grass is mistreated. It has nothing, but, um, what is that stuff called? Nothing but, uh, smog and all that gunk sent to it, uh, all the time. Cause of all the cars passing, it’s crazy. It’s great. Uh, but it grows, it grows like no other and they only mow it maybe, maybe twice a month, if they’re lucky. Um, and it keeps growing back. It, it dumps its, they don’t pick it up. They don’t whatever, they just mow it and yeah, yeah, it’s there. It’s great. It’s wonderful. Uh, it’s not that big a deal. So folks keep watering that grass. Uh, like I said, uh, uh, you know, if you, if you
Speaker 3:
Have an irrigation system, that’s probably the best scenario. You don’t have to, uh, get out there and move it around or anything like that. Um, if you don’t have an irrigation system, you know, you can set up your little sprayers and, and whatnot and get it going and, and it it’ll work too. It’s, it’s nothing that you have to, uh, have to worry about. It’s nothing that you have to, uh, sit there and, and monitor 24 7 and get this done and get that done. It’s you just, you just go out there, you said it and uh, you know, you just move on. It’s good. It’s wonderful. Um, it, it’s simple, uh, Tulsa lawn, hair, community. Uh, we want you to know that we’re here to provide you, uh, a good quality of service. We’re here to help you, uh, grow that grass. Uh, so you can have a nice Lu lawn.
Speaker 3:
You don’t wanna be the only one in the neighborhood with a brown, a brown lawn, and you don’t wanna be the only one in the neighborhood that, uh, has a dying lawn. Uh, everyone else in the neighborhood’s gonna be doing something, whether they admit to it or not, uh, to take care of their lawn and, uh, and get it all, uh, situated and, and, and, and things like that. So keep an eye out for, uh, for the guys in blue. Uh, we’re gonna be out there mowing and growing and, uh, yeah, uh, water, the grass. We are gonna water our ourselves. Uh, that way we can stay hydrated when that August sun hits and, uh, gonna be out there, uh, mowing, remember, uh, kicking grass and taking names long here, home with a $5 first mow.
