Speaker 1:
Good morning, Tulsa long care community, Kevin here with kicking grass and taking names long care Tulsa Lawn Care home of the $5 first Mo that’s right folks, $5 to get ’em out. Nothing easier, nothing better, nothing simpler. Guys. What do y’all wanna talk about today? You know what I wanna talk about today? I wanna talk about, let’s see, dormancy of grass, folks. Do you know what dormancy is? Do you know that grass goes to sleep? Do you know grass changes, colors during different stages of his existence? That’s right. Folks, grass is a living thing. Can you believe that? Uh, so you know, grass is interesting and, and what most people do not realize is if they actually have grass, it does not grow that much when they see their grass all high and tall and all that stuff, what they’re confusing their grass with is their weeds. Um, so first and foremost, if your grass is growing, um, in January, February, March, it’s, it’s not grass folks, it’s weeds.
Speaker 1:
Um, cuz like I said, grass actual true legitimate 100%, Hey, this is clean, pure grass does not grow that fast does not grow that tall does not grow that wild and crazy and all that other stuff. Uh, all that crazy wild and tall and sticky and funky and weird stuff out there in our Tulsa long care community is weeds growing. So just FYI, you might want to consider having, uh, weed control and fertilization treatment done by kicking grass on taking names, lawn care home with a $5 first mow, um, and allow us to do that for you. Um, and it will, yeah, it’ll, it’ll control your, your weed significantly. Number one, number two, the amount of mowing and, and, and having to have equipment out on your property will be reduced greatly. And uh, number three, you’d have a kicking great team coming out, taking care of you. Yeah, that’s right. That’s the best one of all really? Um, so yeah, so anyway, grass and it’s dorm seats, uh, so grass kind of, you know, grasses are different. Some grasses need more, uh, sun than others. Some grasses need, uh, more water than others. Uh, you know, some grasses, uh, need to be taken care of every few years. Just, just all sorts of different things. Some grass needs more attention and long story
Speaker 2:
Short. Some grasses will grow no matter what, uh, the most common Tulsa Lawn Care grass in our, uh, neck of the woods is Bermuda. Uh, and it will grow. Bermuda actually is a weed. It’s awesome. It’s wonderful. It’s a weed that we just love the way it looks and uh, when manicured and grown. Right. It looks nice. Uh, so yeah. Yeah, it’s a, it’s a great weed. Uh, so ha funny there, but Bermuda, even though I just said weeds grow like crazy, uh, does not grow that bad, does not grow that, uh, outta control, uh, when properly maintained and control and uh, cut and all that stuff. Uh, like I said, Bermuda, it, it, it does not grow crazy or wild. It, it, it, it maintains a very nice look, um, and all that good fun stuff. So grass, what a wonderful thing it is. Uh, and Tulsa us a care community is going to be, uh, the one to come out there and take care of the grass out there for you.
Speaker 2:
Uh, while we’re out there, folks, uh, we’re gonna want to treat those weeds so your grass can thrive and grow. And, and when your grass is thriving and growing it, it’s going to snuff out and push out and pull out those wheats, uh, on its own. Uh, cuz it doesn’t like the wheats Tulsa Lawn Care either. It knows they’re they’re not good and, and, and all that stuff, they wanna dominate their, their land so to speak. Uh, but yeah, so you know, a lot of people who worry about their, their lawns coming, they’re like, oh my lawn’s not coming back well, and it’s still brown and dah, dah, I think it’s dead. No folks, your, your grass is, is still dormant. Uh, long story short and it will come back. It will, uh, especially if it’s Bermuda, Bermuda will grow, uh, almost anywhere, uh, even in the back of a truck it’s crazy, but yeah, Bermuda will grow is gonna grow. It’s gonna be there to grow. Um, and uh, it’s hard to stop. Uh, now FSQ is a more, uh, how you say, uh, finicky, grass needs more attention, needs more help, needs more, uh, pampering, so to speak.
Speaker 2:
Um, you’ve gotta, you gotta mine, your fescue a little bit more and, and things like that. Um, it’s not as, uh, durable or as resilient as Bermuda, uh, soya, uh, you know, that is hit and miss to be perfectly honest with you. Uh, things I’ve read and heard is Zoe is a very fragile grass. Uh, it needs to be very taken care of monitored, very little foot traffic. And then, uh, when I’m out there in the real world mowing and, and going, um, I I’m learning soya, you know, is, is a lot of dog owners use soya because it’s a very durable grass when it comes to the dogs, it withstands them and, and things like that. So, um, you know, I, I don’t know. I don’t know if it’s some sort of a hybrid soya or, or just some sort of a, a freak of Tulsa Lawn Care nature out here in our neck of the woods type of grass, but it’s there, it’s, uh, it’s working, uh, and, and it’s getting things done.
Speaker 2:
So, uh, again, grass is, is gonna grow and, uh, don’t worry about it. It’ll be there. Uh, grass is grow, uh, and thrive in different weather types and climates and all that stuff, uh, which is fine. We want our totes lawn care community understand that we know our grasses and we’re gonna come out and we’re going to take care of them for you. Uh, we’re gonna make them look good. Um, you know, so in fact, no lawn needs to be bagged. Be perfectly honest with you. Uh, you know, people that, uh, believe you, they always need their lawns bagged and stuff like that. They just education folks, education clippings are great. Uh, then you can Def ATCH once a year, uh, you don’t even need to Def ATCH once a year.
