<silence> Good morning, Tulsa Long care community, Kevin here with kicking grass and taking names. Long care home of the $5 first Mow folks, how we doing out there? The leaves are falling or have fallen, uh, depends how you wanna look at it. Most of those leaves, man, they just dropped like a brick in water. Uh, so the leaves are done. They’re down. Okay, so, man, let’s get after them folks. Let’s make sure our lawns are taken care of. There is nothing better than a clean lawn in winter. What? Yes, that’s right. There’s nothing better seeing that nice brown, lush Bermuda everywhere is absolute paradise, if you know what I mean. And if you know what I mean. You know what I mean? Uh, having nice brown, clean, clear grass indicates a person that takes care of their lawn, that their house is taken care of, that they’re on the ball.
They, they do not let things slide or slack. If they’re willing to take care of their grass, they’re willing to take care of business shows. Responsible adult shows a person that actually cares about the things in their life. You’re like, dude, this is just lawn care. Yes, yes, absolutely. You’re 100% right. It is just lawn care. But show me a person’s lawn and I’ll show you the type of person they are. Uh, it’s just a fact. It’s just like, Hey, show me a person’s closet. I’ll show you the type of person they are. Show me a person’s car. It all coincides. If you’re willing to take care of your lawn immaculately, you’re going to take care of everything else in your life. Funny how that works out. Even the things that you don’t want to take care of and that you despise, and that you won’t have to have nothing to do with Tulsa lawn care community.
You will have it taken care of, whether it’s yourself or hiring somebody to come out and provide the service for you. So, having said all that leaves are down, it is time. And if you’ve got grass and a lot of it, and then you’ve got some leaves somewhere on that property, I suggest mulching. Okay? Mulching will be super beneficial and super lucky. Well, I wouldn’t say super lucky, I would say super beneficial. And, uh, you’re the person that, uh, prepared and the opportunity has arisen. And so there it is, uh, basically saying, instead of just removing your leaves, get them mulched up. Uh, it’s a free fertilizer, and if you’ve got enough grass, you can spread it out. And what I mean by that is some people have a really small lot and they live in a neighborhood that there is a ton of trees, let alone not just on their small city lot.
So not only do they have a ton of trees on their lot for the amount of grass they have, but they have like the entire neighborhood full of trees. So in that scenario, I strongly suggest for, uh, leaf removal, uh, because all you’re gonna do is turn a light fluffy blanket of leaves into a very heavy blanket of leaves, uh, on your ground. And so you’ll for sure kill your grass that way. Uh, the best thing to do in, in the scenario where you’re a city lot is get them removed the first time. And then any sub, uh, substantial, uh, downfall after that should be minimal and be able to just be mulched up and taken care of that way in a nice, clean and easy manner. Now, having said all that, let’s mulch them leaves tons and tons of benefits. They break down a ton quicker.
Tulsa lawn care community, they provide a good source of nutrients for a balanced pH ground that has already made those leaves. Okay? So it won’t change your soil consistencies, it won’t change. It’ll add the necessary benefits needed, uh, for your specific yard. Um, help with your trees to grow bigger and brighter, um, and all the wonderful and beautiful stuff to do with leaves. Also, it does not allow for critters to easily get into. It’s a lot heavier. And these things, uh, cannot move them as easily as they can when they’re nice, big and fluffy. Um, they also, so they can’t bur down underneath them ’cause it’s more weight on top of them and other various, uh, reasons like that. So the critters won’t be as, uh, much, don’t get me wrong, there’s gonna be some that’ll be able burbury in there, you know, burrow in there, whatever it is, and take care of it and hide and make a home. But with, with it being all mulched up, just won’t be as, um, luring won’t be as ooh, desirable for the animal to come out and make its nest or home there. So Tulsa lawn care community mulching is strongly advised, uh, if you’ve got enough land per tree ratio, uh, and again, if you don’t leaf removal, uh, is the next best thing. And you’ve gotta wonder what is enough land entry ratio. Well, can you pile up a massive amount of leaves from a yard that looks like it has none? If the answer is yes,
Then you probably have enough, uh, ground to leave ratio. If you can’t even see your ground and you have nothing but leaves visible everywhere, you’ll probably want to remove that. That way you can see your ground, but you can see more ground than leaves. That’s when you know you’re at your mulching. Uh, best, okay, Tulsa lawn care community mulching, uh, is, is it also helps tear up that weak grass. Oh, tear my grass up. Well, why not? You, you have your mowers out there. You’re grinding, you’re turning, you’re, you’re peeling out, you’re doing all sorts of things with your mower. You’re grinding away on it. It’s kind of like a small aeration job. You want to loosen up that soils, uh, as well during this timeframe, uh, just so that it can get some air. There’s nothing wrong with getting a little, uh, a little ground exposure, a little mud exposure, and get some air out there for your grass.
We want that dirt to be healthy and strong, and we want it to know that it needs to grow. We want a lot of, uh, a lot of different variables at this time of year. There’s a lot of different reasons for mowing, uh, or mulching with your mowers at this time of year. Uh, one of them being allowing air to flow into the soil. Uh, so it’s not, you know, because it, it gets cold, it gets compacted, it gets hard, you know, it gets all the above. So you wanna make sure you are providing it with enough nutrients. So turning your mowers around on it, um, turning your, uh, blades on, and that leaves mulched up. All that stuff is good for it in the long run. Okay? These are small things that you can do to the lawn care community to get your lawn ready for spring season.
Okay? And it’s almost time of year to lay the post, uh, the pre-emergent and, uh, get, get the yard ready for leaves, or get the yard ready for weeds that are about to come in and bombarded and attack it and do all these crazy and horrible things and mulching up your leaves. Now, won’t allow them to, won’t allow those weeds to settle in. It’ll also act as a barrier to the bad things, barrier to the bad things, barrier to the good things. Uh, and, and like I said, it’ll just help overall with the look and a feel of the yard. Something we’re really gonna want, really, like, really, uh, anticipate having done. Okay? Having a great yard is, uh, a lot of work unless you, uh, hire somebody to do it. And in that case, it’s very simple. Uh, we get you set up on a plan.
We get you, uh, ready to, to look, feel, and be great when it comes to having a yard looking nice. Uh, you want to have that nice solid mow you want to have that nice, uh, solid spray and all that. It all starts with your winter preparation. And you’re like, man, what? Yeah, it’s crazy, right? Uh, sitting here, getting your, your yard prepped, looking nice, having the leaves mulched up instead of just sitting there, you know, you can get mold from all those leaves packed in the corner of your house. That’s something you really want. I don’t think so. You don’t want it because mold is bad. Even, even if it’s outside, mold is bad. And it’ll stay that way regardless of the season. It’ll stay wet, damp, and nasty, all simply because you didn’t get those leaves pulled out, pushed out. And mulched up.
Leaves need to be taken care of in a timely manner for so many reasons, especially during the winter months. You don’t wanna leave ’em out there for too long because they will degrade and take away from the yard, okay? They won’t break down fast enough. When they’re not, uh, mulched up. When they’re mulched up, then they provide you with a great and wonderful, uh, fertilizer. So keep it in mind.
